In Saiyan history, one super soldier will appear every thousand years. He is bloodthirsty, blustering and belligerent, and also has horrific combat. It is called The Legendary Super Saiyan and Broly is the latest one.
Broly is the son of a low-class Saiyan named Paragus. He was born with an estimated power level of 10,000 at birth and placed in a crib next to Son Goku, who was born the same day and the power level was only 2. King Vegeta, fearing that his strength grew more as he grows up and rebels against him, ordered to execute Broly and his father, Paragus. Believing them dead, threw their bodies in a junkyard in planet Vegeta. However, story is far from over…
Back to the figure. When Bandai first announced Shodo series, actually I had no interest in it because compared to S.H.Figuarts, they are too small and lack of details. But when they released Broly, I could not help but snatched it because Broly is my favorite character. 😀
(1) Package
Compact design with clear window in front. The back of the package shows several poses and other figures in this volume (Super Saiyan Son Goku and Bardock).
(2) Accessories
Just one set of hands. Do not expect too much, it is just a candy toy. And please pay attention to these tiny accessories. Once lost, it’s hard to get back.
(3) Sculpt and Paint
The sculpt and paint of this Broly is really awesome even better than some S.H.Figuarts, which exceed my expectation. The toy itself is about 3.75 inches.
The skirt can be taken off.
(6) Poses
Althrough the articulation is not as good as most S.H.Figuarts, it is great among candy toys especially it is just 3.75 inches.
(7) Conclusion
Except for the poor accessories, it’s a great figure with fantastic sculpt and awesome painting. I highly recommend to snatch one.
